I am actually a fan of the stock turbine wheels but I was also considering buying a set of 16 inch pony rims in the future from the 91-93 mustangs. Will these wheels fit on the 90GT I though I read somewhere that there is a clearance issue with the fenders.

The clearance issue is with the inner fenders.

When the wheels are turned to full lock, on some cars, the tires will rub the inner fenders.

Full lock turns usually only occur at very low speeds, so it is not anything to worry about.

Many people have changed rims, in fact I would bet there are more 87-90 GTs with pony rims now then there are with turbines.

i had pony wheels on my 88 with out a problem

so you will be fine on your 90.....

Thank you for the response gt91. That is the reason why I like the turbines still because you just dont see them that often. I do like the ponys also and maybe one day i'll buy a set just as a backup.
