I would like to put Bullit rims on my 86 GT. I am going to pick up an SN95 set up this week. Will the center caps fit? Will i need to roll the lip on the rear wheel well? Are these rims all 17x8? And do the BS differ by yr and if so which is best for my application.
Sorry about so many questions, but i have become confused reading some of the threads, and know this is the place for true answers.
I appreciate the assistance always.

They are all 17x8 from 2001-2004 with a 5.72 inch backspacing. The later bullit rims that came on the new mustangs (05-up) are also 17x8 but with a deeper 6.295 inch backspacing. Rolling the inner fender is a good idea especially if the car is lowered, if it's stock height maybe not with a 245/40/17 tire though a 245/45/17 you will more than likely have to roll the rears.

If the wheels are meant for an SN95 body style and you've done a 5 lug conversion, they should work.
