Default Tire Pressure Question?

Guys i went from my stock 17's to 18's. Ran 32 psi in the 55/235/17.
Have Nittos 45/255/18 and 40/285/18. Does anyone run these tires and what psi do you run?

what ever it says on the side wall is what you should run for DD.

mess with it at the track, but for daily driveing, use reccomended settings

This is the problem i have those who say use the side wall psi which would be 44 or the door psi which is 32. They are DD Bullitts.

i would go with 32psi...thats what i usually run. 44psi would be like riding on bricks, not to mention the tire wearing unevenly. too much pressure and it will wear out the middle cause of ballooning; not enough pressure and you'll wear out the outer portion

Never use what is on the sidewall-that is the maximum the tire can take. The tire manufacturer does not know what car you are putting it on.

If it is street driven always use what is on the door jam sticker, plus or minus a couple of pounds for your preference.

Totally the wrong answer to give. Try not to answer something that you don't know. Or at least label it as "I think" or "possibly" or "not 100% sure"

I have been guilty of this as well, and now has become a peeve of mine, lol.

Go to a tire shop and ask someone that does this for a living But on average right around 34 psi or go to the tire makers web site and see what they reccomend
