buyer beware!!!! don’t go too cheap it rains in the summer if you got bad back tires, you might fishtail on corner if you got bad front tires, you might slide in when you want to turn if any are bad you might skid when you want to stop be sure to check the date on tires, and never buy a tire that has been plugged. to check date, look at the DOT code at the end there will be a oval with a 3 or 4 digit code. if its got 3... DONT GET THE TIRES. 3 numbers means ## is the week and the 3rd is 199X Example 329 ( 32nd week of 1999 ) 147 ( 14th week of 1997 ) if its got 4 first 2 are week and second 2 are year example ## week 3rd and 4th number represents 20XX 2604 (26th week of 2004) 1408 (14th week of 2008 ) tires more than 3 years old should never be put on a car. tires more than 5 should be replaced. it is a DOT law that on your receipt they list the date the tire was made, if they don’t be sure to look! usually its on the inside of the tire. sears and Wal-Mart are notorious for selling 8 year old new tires!!!
remember tires are the most important part of the car with out them you dont go stop or turn.
they are very important, id get a set for winter and a set for summer.
you can always take it in the fall to have them switched.
be sure to store tires not being used properly!!!
