Default tire size on a 1990 gt

Will 295 fit on the back of a 90 gt? and also would a 275/60/15 be too tall for the car that is lowered 2 inches?

On stock wheels and lowered about two inches (16"wheels) I could only go 255/45/16 due to tire rub when hitting dips in the road. If not lowered and using 15" wheels, 265/50/15 will work on stock rims (turbine style). If running after market wheels, backspacing will determine what rubs and what dont. Just swing by a tire shop and they will set you straight.

I'm Lowered 2 inches and the biggest I can go is 255/40/17. and even then they rub just a little in the back. and they did rub in the front when I turned all the way to the right till i made a little room. Hope this helps a little bit.

275/60/15 is more of a truck tire I think... thats pretty big and you would probably not fit it under a lowered fox body
