I'm going to get new tires for my 1997 V6 Coupe soon. I have the 17x8 GT rims. Do you think I can get 275/50's on the rear with no problems? Will it look good? Should I get 265's maybe? Discount tire recommended 255's rear and 235's front. I'm going to get 235 or 245's in the front, depending if they rub or not. But anyway. Do you think I can get 275's on my 17x8 rims?

and you can fit as much as 255 up front. not sure if its okay to do with the 8in rim.

The reason for that, is the size of the wheel 17X8. To get 275'S on right, you'll want 17X9. I have 295X18'S on an 18X10, on the rear of my 96 SVT Cobra, Mike. SCT Tuner.

I know for sure I'm getting 235's up front, but maybe I'll try for 265's in the rear. I just want something to fill up that huge rear wheel well a little better...
