so i upgraded my wheels and tires about 2 weeks ago with 4 BFG g-force T/A KDs (285/30/18) and ASA JH8 black wheels (18x9.5) and the guy that sold them to me told me that each tire was designed to be mounted on the left or right side of the car, well i got them installed at a well known tire shop where i live and at first it felt like the tires ran smooth as butter on the road but its been about 2 weeks and i've done a good bit of interstate driving and it just feels like i have a good bit of vibration in the gas peddal and steering wheel...i know that their balanced ok but my question is if the guys who mounted them set the left tires on the right and the right ones on the left would that cause these problems? the vibrations are not violent or anything and i knew the ride would be a little rougher but not this rough....any thoughts?

oh yea i forgot to mention....the tires seem a lot louder then they should be also, or at least louder than i thought they would be...sometimes when im driving it sounds like ive got mud terrain tires or somethin.....they def make an apparent humming sound when driving more often then not

Noise is typical in most performance tires. Others have said these tires are noisy as well. The vibration would not come from the tires being on the wrong side.
Its either a balance issue, or the clips on the rotor/stud are still on not allowing the wheel to sit flush up against the hub, as this happens with some aftermarket wheels.
