Iam buying off the internet so I want to make the right purchase. What Iam lookin at for rims is front 17x8 15mm rear 17x9 20mm I would like to put 245-45-17 tires up front and 275-40-17 in the rear can anyone tell me if this will work out ok some sites I have been to say yes some say no ,also what is backspacing some of the rims i have looked at list it some dont i have bought rims before but never from the internet so I dont know much about it

Those are going to rub big time in front. You have the 1990 front fenders as well, which don't take to 17 inch wheels and 245 tires. If you were to go with 235, the rubbing would be reduced.
The 275 will work fine in the rear.

the 235 would still rub though Iam looking for something that dosent rub what would I have to do to run the 245s

american muscle has assured me that 245-45-17 will not rub in the front twice by phone but if I by tires already mounted they will not take them back Iam tring to save myself from wasting a $1000 dolllars here anyone put these tires on the front of a 90 5.0 lx before or are these guys just bs me
