Default Wheel and tire choices

Upon my return from deployment, I plan on getting the Steeda Ultra-light silver 18x9.5 and 18x10. I am up in the air about tire choices. I am thinking either Nitto NT555 275/40/18 for the fronts, but the wheels I am stuck between 295/45/18 or 285/40/18 for the rears. I am not worried about my speedodometer being off, I have tuner and my car is not lowered and I don't plan on lowering it. I am leaning towards the 295/45/18 for the rear.

I have the 295/45/18s in the back but I went with the 255s up front. 275s will clear but thats a wide tire up there. I don't seem to have any problem with them on crowned roads. But if you go with the 275s you may want to increase your caster adjustment.

I was thinking about 255 up front, but a steeda rep on another site thought the 275 on the 9.5" rim would be better. Would 255 be wide enough for a 9.5" rim?

Last week a customer of Tillmans had them install the Shelby look wheels with the 275/18s up front. He likes them.

It's up to you. they will work and look good.

Always check the manufacturers recommended rim size for the tire you are buying. For example, note they offer a couple different 255’s and they have different rim recommendations.

I looked on the Nitto site and the 275/45/18 fits a 9.0 to 11.0" rim and the 295/45/18 fits a 9.5 to 11". The 285/40/18 would also fit the 10" rims.
