Default Looking for some drag racing rims and slicks

I just received my strange struts and shocks along with my eibach drag launch springs so I would like to buy a good drag racing rim along with slicks. I currently own an extra set of 95 cobra rims (16x8) and I was wondering if I should use these or order some other rims. I don't want to spend much money and I found these on summit

Cragar 3655812 - Cragar V-5 Wheels – SummitRacing.com

American Racing 625861 - American Racing Outlaw II Wheels – SummitRacing.com

I'm not sure if these are any good so some input would be nice. I also don't know what size tire to run on the 16x8 or 15x8 nor do I know which tire to choose. You could say I'm in the dark on this

I have 15x8 American Racing Outlaw II wheels with 275/50-15 M/T ET Streets.

They work great for me. I wasn't looking for top of the line racing wheels though. I just wanted something quick and cheap.

Yeah I'm just looking for a rim that will work for me. I'm not sure what the difference between the cheap and expensive really is. What size tire would be good for the 16x8 cobra rims.

Does anybody know which tire size will fit the 16x8 cobra rims. I'm thinkin I will go with MT but I'm not sure yet.

I recall you mentioning the accident that caused the pic in your Avatar so that leads me to ask, is this going to be a straight track car or a track + cruise car? If it is just a track car go all out and get a set of Hoosiers or other racing tires for the back and some simple cheap Good years or something for the front. If it's going to be a cruise car maybe some Eagle F1's. (I really only know Good year and Nascar so those are the two brands i'm familiar with sry lol)

Additionally unless you know where you ordered the tires from it's hard to say for sure the measurements on your tires, and heck if your going hardcore the summit ones are probably lighter weight.

Ha I just made another thread in a different section because I haven't gotten any responses on this. Thank you for your response. The car is a daily driver and I plan on switching out my rim/tire combo at the track with the new rims/slicks I buy. I have decided to buy the 15x8 rims and now I'm trying to decide which set to buy and which tires will be best. I like the crager v-5 wheels but why are they so stinkin cheap? I want something that I will be able to count on and not have to worry about.
