19" Tire & Wheel Question I noticed most 19" wheel owners who have posted seem to be running the 245/45-19 fronts... and 275/40-19 rears. Doing the math, I see this gives a very close OD match (27.68" front, and 27.66" rear). I'm curious as to why folks with 19s are not choosing to go with 255/40-19 fronts and 285/35-19 rears (27.03" front, 26.89 rear diameters). Only asking as the OEM setup for 2005-2007 GTs are at the 27" mark (235/55-17s are 27.18".... 235/50-18s are 27.25"). Why opt for the taller setups (27.68") vs the shorter... and closer to OEM... setup? Isn't the suspension and geometry (and speedometer) setup for the 27" OD vs 27.75 OD? Is there a clearance issue with the wider tires?
