Angry I need help with tire sizes

I just signed on to this site 10 minutes ago. I have a 91 pony lx. I lowerd it 2 weeks ago with Eibachs sportline springs. I have 17x8 cobra r wheels all the way around. Tire sizes on the back are 245/45/z17... and they're rubbing bad. If i hit the littlest pot hole... she's rubbing. Any suggestions besides throwing the old springs back in. Would a lower profile tire help? move to a 16in rim? would a adjustable shock help matters?

Im rubbing on the fender lip... it's eating my tire up pretty bad as well. I have spacers on all 4 wheels and a guy at a car show said to take them off but eh... they're on there for a reason right? The wheels and tired were on there when i bought the vehicle

Try taking the spacers off and see where the tires sit. If there are no rub issues then you are good to go. It seems to me like you don't need those spacers on there and they are the reason you would be rubbing on the fender lip.
