Default Deep dish bullits from Americanmuscle.com

Okay so I have an 02 GT with the stock bullitt wheels. I want to get the wider deep dish bullitts from American Muscle. The 17x10.5 for the rears. I have heard they do not exactly match stock bullitts. They look identical to me. Let me know if there are any differences and if there are if i should go ahead and buy a new set of 17x8 or 17x9 for the front.

I'm not sure if the shape is exactly the same.

But I know the center caps would be different. I believe the stock center caps have the running pony logo with the red, white, blue stripes...(I think). And these aftermarket rims would have the company logo in the center cap.

Hi Danediz-

You are correct that the center caps can be easily swapped with your existing Bullitt wheels. Differences in paint color may vary only slightly, mostly depending on the weather, UV and brake dust exposure to your existing wheels. In terms of design, the differences are minimal (ie: the lip), and can usually only be seen right up close. You might consider getting the rears, and then in a few months, if you're not happy with the match, pick up a set for the front.

Let me know if you have any other questions. And thanks.

sounds about what i was thinking of doing. the wheels are fairly cheap. around 124 for the 17x8 and 150 for the 17x10.5. American muscle provides free balancing and mounting if u buy the tires with it. Although I wasnt sure if the tires were very good. is there a pirelli tire that fits the 17x10.5 well?
