Default 275-60-15 drag radial on a Fox

Anyone know if a 275-60-15 drag radial will fit on the rear of a 1990 Mustang LX? Plan to mount them on the 10 hole LX wheels. Appreciate the feedback

Back spacing might be a problem. I believe you need 5.5 inches of backspacing. Are you aware that tire is 28 inches tall? It will affect you gear ratio. 275-50-15 is a 26 inch tire.

It fits but like was said it might be a little tight with the backspacing of the stock wheel. I'm running a weld drag lite wheel 15x9 with 4.5" b.s. and all I had to do was roll the fender. So like they say your results might vary.

I currently have them on my 89 notch on drag lites. .2 slower though than the 50's. with 3:90 gears..but yes on the 50's I have to by pass my window switch( 3000/6000) so that the car is spraying at the top.

I am running the Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radial and I had to beat the inner part of the frame and cut the inner fender lips off but I got it to fit. Best drag radial have ever had. 1.34 60' time is my personal best with this set up

I have a few LS1 friends down here with those tires. They're awesome, my boy is regularly 60 footing in the 1.40's with his set up (cam, stall, and spray).

should be fine up To 275 Without having to take off the quad shocks depending on tire brand....anything past that just take off the quads and throw on some trac bars or lift bars...well unless you wanna go tubed of course

we run them on a 8in weld with a 5.5 back space . no roll on the outer lips and the inner wheel well have been beat for years due to the ET street slicks and the quads was one of the first things that went many many years ago.
