I just acquired a 1991 Mustang GT (80,000 miles) that has been in family since new. Would appreciate input as to what tires, size & rims to go with as I like painted Cobra Rs but she comes stock with
16 x 8 (4 lug) & I'd like 17" (5 lug).
Also completely unsure as to what size tires & brand.
You help is greatly appreciated.

They make the Cobra R's in a 4 lug 17. You should be able to put 17's on with no mods. I have seen 18s but you might start to have issues ( mods) with any thing bigger than a 17.
