rolling on stock 2005 17's now w/ 235/55's. I leave WAY too much rubber at every stop light. LOL

I'd appreciate suggestions...

Could somebody post the specs on the wheels that will fit the 05-07s? including correct offset and lug spacing?

thnx,
Mo
I just did new wheels and tires from www.americanmuscle.com.$1300 mounted, balanced, and shipped (including new locking lug nuts)

great link. VERY helpful. Thanks!

but Americanmuscle.com doesn't seem to have a 45mm offset spec in the 18x9 bulllit style...

Black bullits. 18x10 (275-40-18) in the rear and 18x9 (255-45-18) in the front.

ah so.. the same rims i'm looking at!!

I take it you didn't have any problems with the 34mm offset on the 18x9s then? Please say "no". (of course, I want you to tell the truth)

No problems whatsoever. Fit was perfect as was the wheel balance. When I put them on I was initially concerned about the wheel/caliper clearance. There's just a few mm clearance, but I guess that's all you need.

Can't beat that price!

WIth Dougs new tune its really opened up my car a lot I need much better traction and I think these will do it for me. got some UCA and LCA comin too thanks stlwagon.
I don't think a 295 should be mounted on a 8.5" wheel.

The diameter of the wheel does not limit the width of the tire. The width of the tire needs to be matched to the width of the wheel. A sidewall angle needs to be maintained to assure lateral traction (handling). It’s a matter of performance and safety. Pick a tire that you want and then look up the manufacturer's recommended wheel width for the tire width (255, 275, 295 etc.) that you want. Tire Rack has the data for each of the tires they sell.
