Default Wheel Spacers for Mustangs, Questions

I was thinking about getting some wheel spacers for the future new car and was wondering a few things. The ones I was looking at are 1inch aluminum spacers. I like the wider look the wheels have on the cars with them, but was thinking of the following;

1. Are there any performance issues pos or neg?
2. Any functional probs that may occur?
3. Are there any neg implications to factory warranties if the car didn't come with them?

As always, all your input is greatly appreciated.

shouldnt impact anything becuase you are adding to and not replacing. The warranties are null and void if you 1. Replace 2.upgrade or 3. Remove, any factory OEM parts covered by the warranty. By adding wheel spacers your are not in violation of the warranty. Now each dealership has their own little qwerks about them since they would be covering the warranty and replacing any parts that are damaged due to "Normal wear and tear" and "factory defaults"
