NOPE. The 05+ have a chrome ring around the pony. The ones that are flush on the center cap are the same ones as on my 01 BULLITT. Even if it were the 05+ they will fit fine. They just sit in about 3/4" closer than the older ones. I put the take offs from an 06 on my 98. It all worked fine. They fit and work fine without spacers. Just LOOK narrower due to the fact that they sit in a little bit. Functionally there is no issue.

Here you can see the two types side by side. Obviously the red caliper wheel is the one on my BULLITT. The silver GT is my 98 with the 06 GT takeoffs. You can see that it works fine. The easy way to tell the diff at a glance is to look at the center cap. 04 and older has a FLUSH center cap.

nytmuves, also you can look at the spokes on the 05+ wheels. the end closest to the outer edge of the rim, the spokes are flatter where as the og bullit wheels have more of an edge on them.

shelbystangman, those wheels you had a pic of will work with your car with no modifications. you can get them at www.buyfordracing.com www.50resto.com or www.americanmuscle.com

Either ones will work on his car with no modifications as long as his car is the same as my 98 was. I have had both types on a 98 GT at one time or another.

check the weights, though -some of the knock-offs are 10 lbs heavier.

if they are replicas of the 01 bullit, then they will fit ALL mustangs from 94-04 without modifications. the 05+ wheels look perfect with a one inch spacer in the rear (the ones with studs pressed in). the front clearances to the brake caliper are a little close and a 1/4 spacer would make the wheel well fill out and look alot better with less rubbing. i however dont like wheel spacers all that much.

Yep. But they are fully functional with no spacers at all. Had em on my 98. See above pics.
