Default 1968 6cyl 14" 4-lug wheel and tire choices?

Hi,
I'm brand new to this forum and to the "hobby" of classic Mustangs. I own a 1968 6cyl Mustang coupe that I am currently working on. I am about to order some new wheels from American Racing, size 14x7. I want to put BFGoodrich T/A's 235/60-14 on all four corners. Will I have any trouble (ie. rubbing, scraping, etc.) without any modifications to the car? Can I go any larger for all four? I am open to any and all suggestions/comments or ideas you may have.
Thanks,
Elmo

Welcome to AFM. I dont think that you would have a problem with that combo. i dont know the biggest size you can put on with out mods. but im sure that someone has a chart of it.

I'd ask dodgestang since he's the tire size gooroo but it ought to fit under the 67-68s larger wheel wells, as it'll almost fit on a 65-66.

Default Rubbing

I also have a 68 with american racing wheels and I do have rubbing issue in the rear fender area. I had to get schackle extentions to offset it. I am looking to go back to steel wheels if you want to part with yours let me know.
