Call steeda they can tell u for sure what will work and what would be the biggest to keep the best stability for your ride. They suggest 18's for the 99 and up going from the stock to bigger. Not sure about yours it all has to do about sidewall and width.

I have 18x9's on mine, but it was converted to 5 lug. Make sure you put a good rain tread on it.

17" wheel. 9" wide in the front and 10.5" in the back. But you have to roll the lip of the quarter panels and go to town on the inner wheel well with a hammer.LOL. other than that its fine.

It also doesn't hurt if you flip the quad-shock in the rear.

Thats true but if you wanna run a 10.5" rim you cant fit them in there no matter how you put them unless you wanna somehow custom mount them.

I have 17x9 and 17x10.5 on my car... rolled lip, no quad shocks, sight banging on the inner fender, and 1/4" spacers in the back - no rubbing, no problems, car is also dropped about 2" -

jbspeed86...Thats the exact wheel I wanted to put on!!!

soccerpimp...Those pictures helped alot, thanks. Looks good too. Rolled lip? whats the best way to do that? Was the spacer really necessary or just an added safety net? What size tires are you running?

Soccer pimp, how do you like the steeda springs? I have eibach in mine and I think they are a bit too low for my liking. And which set of theirs do you have?

It's been a long time since i've put the springs on I don't remember what they are exactly, the steeda setup rides really well... and i went from a 94 corvette to my 5.0 and the handling difference isn't that large - the spacer is to help it not rub on the inner fender during a really fast turn.. or with people in the car, or a big bump... they are necessary on my car otherwise it will rub - I rolled the lip with a rag and a baseball bat... and a rubber ended hammer.... my tires are 245s in the front and 275s in the back -

I got the steeda springs from late model restoration in the package with the KYB shocks and struts and I really like the way they ride.

Mine lowered the car about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches and the fender gap looks well IMO...

I would post some pics but I can't seem to figure out how to do that, sorry.

I recently bought some 17x9 4 lug 2003 cobra rims from American Muscle (MustangTuning) with 245/45/17 tires for my 92 5.0 LX Coupe. I just put then on the car tonight and noticed a few things that I really didn't like.

1) the front tires seem to stick out further than the rears and the suspension is stock. The stock tires both fit under the wheel wells nicely. With the 17x9 the rears still fit under the top lip of the wheel well, but the front sticks out about an inch or so. Is that normal?
2) the center cap doesn't fit on the front rim because of the dust cap on the rotor. I took off the dust cap to see if it would fit but the center cap still doesn't have enough room to fit.
3) the car definitely will need lowered with these tires since it sits up a little higher now. any recommendations and how difficult is it usually to install the new springs, etc.

I sent an email to AmericanMuscle as well about the fit issues, but was wondering if anyone else has purchased from them or has any insight into what I'm seeing. I was told I wouldn't need any spacers with these rims. The rims themself look really nice, just the fit that bugs me.
