I was looking all over the internet for a set of new 265/35/18 tires for my 03 gt. During my search my choice of brand where the nitto 555 extreme tire but the price averaged from 190 to 250 a tire, a little expensive. I also found a site that gives a tremdous discount on all types of tires including the nitto which sells for 103.00 a tire about a 150.00 discount. Sounds a little too good so I was wondering if anyone has heard of these people or have bought from this site (tires-easy.com).

never heard of them before. However, I will tell you, you will not find CHEAP 18" tires, there is no such thing.

That being said, Nitto 555's are good tires.

what about the Nexen N 3000 tire it has a treadwear of 340 versus the nitto's 300 treadwear, Ever heard of the Nexen ,Big Brand Tire sells them for 117 a tire

how about the b goodrich DR with treadwear rating ZERO lol

if i were you i would just get a cheap street tire and throw that on.. then get another set of rims and put a drag radial on the back and when you go to the track just swap em out

Thats wut i do. I have a set of Mickeys on my 10.5" wide deep dish bullitt's n i swap them when i need them.

I got my nittos 555r 315/40/17. at discount tire for like $420 or so

I wish mine were that cheap Im looking at 204 a tire (265/35/18) at discount tires you do the math

Whenever I got tires, i'd print out the price online from discount direct, then go to my local discount tire and get it at teh same price, plus free mounting and balancing. They never once would argue with me

Yea, most people don't realize, but you can haggle with the guys at Dicount Tire... usually they'll go as low as $20-30 off each tire from the price they originally give you.
