Default are different size tires ok

i have a 04 gt and i want to buy sum new wheels but with the way my money is i'm goin to buy them like one or maybe two at a time. i was wondering is it safe to put 18x10 rims on the back while still having my stock 17's on the front until i get the front 18x9 and i also need help with lowering my ride. whats a good supsension

You can do that, but your handling will suffer a little.

Your speedo will not be accurate until you get it retuned.

BUT it will work. I've seen it done before.

As for suspension, to lower it all you really need is Eibach springs. 220$ gets you 1.75" (which is a lot)

To keep it handling right, I'd swap out the McPhersons and throw in Konis or KYB. Get new control arms as well- preferably launchers. That way, you get ALL of your power to the ground.
