I am looking at putting Nitto 555 275/40/18's all the way around on Roush 18X10 rims. I am looking for tires that are in the $200 range and would like to get opinions on what you guys are running. I use the car on the street only and want something QUIET - my BFG KD's are shot and are extremely noisy. Do these generate any road noise?

My buddy runs the Nitto 555's (255's on 18x9's) all around his '05, and he loves them. He was undecided about the KDW's, but they have been known for noise and wear.
The tires I have now have had it - I was thinking of going for 295's in the back and 275's in the front for some extra traction - what do you guys think? I am paranoid about the noise factor at this point. I just want something QUIET yet sticky....
I don't notice any additional road noise with mine since I changed. The only difference I have noticed is the bumpier rides due to the change from 17" to 18". The ride is a little harder.

I've got a harsher ride b/e of the 20's, but I don't notice any additional road noise. I mostly hear my exhaust or the radio anyway. Tires seem to grip pretty well IMO. I haven't slid out of control like I did with the stock 235's.
would nitto 555's be good in all-weather? like rain and snow? cause i have heard that they are good for traction with the ground, but i haven't heard anyone comment on anything about them being good all-weather tires. I need to have tires i can rely since my stang is a DD

Those sizes look good. I have the 295/45/18's in the back and the 255/45/18's up front. I plan on going with the 275/40/18's in front next time I need new front tires. There is enough room for the little bit of extra width, plus the shorter height will help keep my raked look once I add the lowering springs.
I heard that Nitto would be releasing a 305/45/18 street tire soon. Right now they have that size in a street drag radial, but I don't need that when all I do is race from light to light. I would rather have the traction for the rain.
i got nitto 275/40/18 all the way around, hopefully your car is lowered a bit, cause on a stock sitting, the car looked like a pickup truck. now since i have lowering springs, it looks killer and ride quality is great, traction wise, couldnt ask for better.
