Default Wheel and Tire size

What is the maximum tire size to run on both a 7" and 8" in wheel?

That all depends on everything!

What year is your car? Stock height or lowered? Do you have wheels now? If so, what is the backspacing? What is the diameter? If you are wheel shopping, what is the size (diameter and width) and backspacing of the wheels you have in mind?

This will all help the better versed members give you a more accurate answer.

Welcome to the forums!

I believe the widest for a 7 inch is a 275. The widest for an 8 inch is 295. Those are the limit but it's better to go with a 245 and a 275, respectively. That way the sidewall isn't rolled over, compromising it's integrity.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.
