Well, I'll let you know now that the bigger the wheels are the slower you'll be, not only cause of parasitic loss, but also worse traction (because of the short sidewalls.) So are you looking for all out drag slicks or drag RADIALS which can also be legally driven on the street? If you're getting DRs you can just swap them for your tires. But if you're getting slicks you'll probably want to get another set of rear wheels so that you don't have to tire swap whernever you go to the track.
I'd say just get your seat time in, it takes a while to master the launch, no matter what tires you use. With your mods the car should be capable of 13s easily. Practice is the cheapest mod, and it your case probably much more effective than any other. So just keep at it and get your launch dialed in. And I'm not trying to get you down or anything, you're probably a better driver than me- I have an automatic
