Default Biggest tire size on the Factory wheels?

Again, I'll start off by apologizing for my stupid, "I can't find the answer on google so I'll post on AFM" questions.

Back to my $2,114 list of Mustang goodies:

$621 dollars of that list went to 4 Nitto NT555s 255/50ZR17.

I saw a few guys on here have them mounted on the factory 17" Bullit wheels, but I happen to have the 5-spoke 17" rims.

Now I assume they are the same offset, etc. But I was curious if fitment would be an issue...

Perfect time to ask, after the UPS guy is lugging the packages to my place.

See what happends when you work for the Government?

I have 5 spoke stock rims and BFG Gforce 255s. The fit fine and I've not had any issues at all, if fact, I love the heck out of them. But when I get the car up on a lift I can see that if they were any wider they may rub on some suspension parts.

Personally I wouldn't go wider than 255s.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah I don't plan on doing any wider than 255, unless of course I get the Shelby Torque Thrust wheels.

After I get mine installed, I'll be posting a bunch of pictures from this upcoming week of the mods being installed. We have a lift at my place, so I'll check to see if theres anything rubbing.
