Question New wheels and tires, need to make a decision!

So it's time for some new rims and tires to go along with my new paint job (black, with white racing stripes) on my '97 SVT Cobra. I am not looking to blow a lot of money just yet so I am going with some decent rims off eBay. I have got my favorites down to two but I still can't decide which looks better.

17" 9/10" Deep Dish (comes with Cobra center caps, not the displayed Pony's)
eBay Motors: 17" 9/10" Black Mustang Cobra R Wheels rims DEEP DISH (item 290173057177 end time Oct-25-07 14:24:09 PDT)

18" 9/10" FR500 (comes with Cobra center caps, not the displayed Pony's)
eBay Motors: 18" 9/10 Black Mustang wheels rims cobra saleen fr500 (item 290173058196 end time Oct-25-07 16:27:09 PDT)

Let me know your opinions (I'm leaning towards #2)! I am also going with Falken's, 245/45R17 95H in the front and P275/40ZR17 M+S in the back. Eventually when I get tired of these and have some more money I am going to go with some Gio's.

I like number 2. I am leaning toward fr 500 in chrome for my white 1999 cobra vert.

Yeah those are nice as well, although I'm not a big fan of chrome for some reason haha.

May be a dumb question but here goes anyway. what do you do about rotating tires if differant sizes on front and rear. I guess you don't rotate and have to keep check for uneven tire wear and have adjustments on alignment. anything else

You can surely have the two back tires rotated with each other, it probably won't be that great of an effect but you could if you wanted to haha. Same with the front, but yeah your best bet is just making sure they stay even with tread and get an alignment here and there.

You forgot one. you would need to keep track of wheel spins for right and left tires, to keep tread equal, unless you have a posi trac.(HA HA).
