Default 1968 Mustang tire help needed

Hello, I have 14x7, 4 lug wheels on my 68 6 cyl. coupe. The original tires on the car are 195 75 R14. I recently purchased some American Racing Outlaw II wheels, also 14x7 and would like to put BFG Radial T/A's on them. Can someone recommend a size tire. I was hoping to put maybe 205 60 R14, I don't know if it would work or there would be some kind of rubbing. Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

Check out dodgestang.com/mustang for info. Good luck finding 14" tires though.

I have 215 r14 60 cooper cobra tires,
will they fit on the original 14x7 4 lug steel wheel
the mustang originally came with or do I need to buy new rims or install special backspacing?

The wheels should be OK to use with a 215/60-14 tire. On my 67 I have 15X8 inch wheels front and rear with 4 1/2 inch backspace. There are 225/50s on the front with no tire rub. On the rear 235/60-15s and I had to roll the fender lip on the top for clearance. The car has been lowered about one inch FYI.
