Default My wheels are pitting 1999 Mustang GT
Hey I have 18 inch chrome saleen wheels. They definately have miles on them because I bought the car with the wheels on it already. The wheels are pitting and I MUST take care of it over the winter while the car is put away. What do you guys suggest doing? Can I clear coat them or should i just clean them up real nice and give them a healthy coat of wax? THANKS!

Once they start pitting, you need more than wax to stop it. I'd suggest having them coated, it's the only way to truly protect them.
