Default Tire and exhaust fitment issues

has anyone on here ever had problems with thier aftermarket catback rubbing on thier wider rim/tire combo? I just put a borla catback on my mach 1 (over axle) and it fit fine with the stock tires. Went to put on my new 18x10s in the rear with 295 tires and it rubs on the exhaust! WTF!?!?!?!?!? I didnt have this problem on my other Mach and i have the same set up, just different brand catback exhaust. Sound familiar to anyone? Anyone know a solution, I really dont want to bang the hell out of it to get it to fit, but im not seeing another option. I have a show tomorrow and need to get it done today!

I have read on other forums that some exhaust systems will cause rubbing with wider tires. Most guys usualy say get a small spacer for your rims and it will stop the rubbing.

not too much you can do about it. get smaller tires, bend the tailpipes, or cut them off.

mine started doing this after i put my DR's on back in may and i just got sick of dealing with it all the time and i just cut them.
