Default Will 275/40 17's fit on 17x8 inch rims? 2004 Mustang GT

I have 17x8" rims on my 04 GT and was wondering if 275/40 17's will
fit on these rims?

yes, most 275/40/17's will fit. check the manufacture website to see what the smallest rim they recomend they go one, some are 8.5 or 9" minimum, others are 8" min.

I had Khumo ECSTA 275 40s in the back and 255 40s in the front and they looked fine on my stockers.

some people would say 275s on the front will track too much, but that depends on the tire. my pirelli zero nero's tracked HORRIBLY but my bf-g's dont track at all. the only thing you have to worry about with the 275s on the front is if you want to lower your car, then it becomes a problem.
