[1990 Vert GT]

I bought my car with two diffrent wheels. It has two 17x 9 cobra r's on the rear I think of the 94 model.
The front has 17 X 8 98 cobra rims.

They are similar but diffrent enought that it bothers me.
Question is which is better for the cars performance. I want 4 matching wheels. I will want to run 275's on the rear can I do that on a 8inch rim?

I do some drag time and some auto cross as well.

which is better an 8inch rim or a 9inch?

Eww, they are very different. Both wheels are great, look at each one and decide which one you'd rather keep. Yes, you can put 275's on an 8 inch wheel, 9 would be better but they would fit on an 8 incher. The 9 would be better for taking turns, so you might should go with the 9.
