Default 1965 Mustang, will 2005+ Mustang wheels fit

iwas wondering if anyone knew if the factory o5-07 wheels 16'' off a v6. would fit a 65. i saw a picture of 67 coupe with a set on it but i have no info. if they had to use spacers or ? i know they are 16x7'' but i don't know the backspacing..

They will not fit. They will fit a 67 with 1inch backspacers, but 65's do not have as much fender well space, they will rub the upper control arms.

If you use a 17 or vintagevenom.com has kits to use the sn95 brakes and changes the back spacing so you have to use the newer rims.

those kits aren't very safe, do some research before you buy. any type of spacer or weird bracket sitting behind your wheel is a suspension or brake failure waiting to happen.
