Question Running 255's in rear on 20's ?

Hello all!

Like the site and have found tons of good info.

I have a question concerning tire size on 20 inch wheels.

I'm was going to go with a 20X10 in the rear with a 275 or 285. After looking at tire prices and rotation issues I'm now looking at going with 255's all around. Not sure if I should use a 20X8.5 in the rear also now?

Any thoughts idea's on this. If anyone has any photo's with 20" 255's on the rear of car that would be great. Thanks in advance!

P.S. The price difference between a 255/35/20 vs. a 275/35or30/20 is huge. Not sure why...

Why not just go with 255s on 20x9 on all 4 corners?

+1 20x9 or 20x8.5... if you want to run a 255 then those are both good sizes, and doing so will also save you some $ on rim cost as well as tires

Think I may go with the 20X8.5 or 9 with the 255.

I spotted a V6 on I75 the other day with what had to be 20's on it but for some reason they looked like wagon wheels.

I just don't want that effect. I will be using the BMR lowering kit (springs/adj. panhard bar/camber bolts anf RCA relocation brackets).

I'd like to go with 18's but I can't seem to find any that don't have that "smallish" look to them.

Thanks for the response guys!

Any out there with 20's with 255's all around please post!
