hey this may be a dumb question but 4give me cuz i jus got my car saturday but is there anything special that u have to do to take care of the polished aluminum wheels? anything i need to steer away from? any help will be appreciated

Congrats on your new ride!

Because the wheels are clearcoated from the factory (factory option, right?), wash them frequently and treat them like paint (but use a separate wash mitt just for your wheels).

I like to use FX SprayWax after cleaning to help keep off the brake dust and dirt.

Now wheel clearcoat is a tougher coating than on your body, so scratch removal and polishing can sometimes take a different approach, but keep them clean and you'll be fine.

If they're clearcoated, you shouldn't have any problem. If they're just polished, no clearcoat, they require constant maintenance. That's what I have, and even water will cause a haze. What I use is strictly Mother's Mag And Aluminum polish, Chrome polish doesn't work on them for some reason. And you just have to get out there and rub each one out to get them looking their best.
