Default Cobra R Wheels On 1989 Mustang GT

My Question is this, I have the stock turbine wheels and want to buy a set of 17" Cobra R's, will 8 inch wheels look good or should I go with 9 inch I want the wheels to all be the same for rotating purposes but want the best looking width. Would I run into any problems with rubbing if I run the 9 inch wheels. any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

On the front, 8's are recommended over the 9's. 9's could probably be used on the rear, but since you want all four the same, go with 8's. But you can't get much wider than a 235 on the front, maybe 245, more than that and you'll have rubbing. Keep that in mind when choosing tires for the rear if you want to rotate all four.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

Do you happen to know the width of the stock turbine wheel I plan on going with a 245 so I hope it works. thanks for the reply

i'm running 95 cobra r wheels and i think they're 17x9 and yea they scrub. I don't even turn sharp and the front will scrub bad. The back don't scrub all that bad though.
