hello all,

i checked the posts and it seems no body has the absolute answer what is the proper fitment for an 89 to put 17s on. can this be done with out rubbing issues. I dont want remove the rear kickers? it has 15s now, should i just go to 16x8? i wanted 17inch 95 cobras for the car but in all the post, every one has had issues with the 17s. dose any one have a set up that works? rims and tire size? 17x8-17x9 , 16x8 ? and tire sizes. alot of money to get the wrong thing i have seen many cars with this combo, what was the right set , tire size and rims size and off set? where to get the? if it makes any diference the car is a covert.

17's can go on, just keep the front tires to a 235 and the rear to a 275, but you might have to reverse the quads to get a little extra clearance.
