Default 1979-1993 Fox Body Ford Mustang Picture Thread

Ok the idea of these picture threads are just that PICTURES! Many enthusiasts
first upgrade is in the wheel and tire category. Many have question on what they will look like and what will fit. Instead of searching the entire forum for a combo or what is needed for making them fit this will be the place to post pictures of your wheel and tire combo and any modifications needed to make them fit…example rolling the wheel wells.

Having pictures will better enable members to pick the combo that they like best.

All discussion of the picture threads should be done in the Picture Thread Discussion and not in the picture thread, other wise it wouldn’t be a picture thread. So if any one has suggestions or want to ask a question about fit the discussion is the place to ask them.

So post in the Picture thread should contain Pictures of the wheels and the following info.

Year of Mustang
Wheel Size
Tire Size
What modification, if any, needed to make it fit
And is you car lowered and how much.

I have posted one in the Fox body section to give everyone an idea so lets now see thoes Wheel and Tire Combo's!

Default 255/60 15s

Ok Here is a Start

The Car belongs to Greg Hager an old time member, I have been storing the info in my PM box for ever as when I upgrade it will be to these.

It’s a 1992 Mustang LX
Weld Wheels 15 X 7 (I think they were 7)
Tiers 255/60 15s for the read wheels
Car is lowered 2.5 all around

Greg reported the rubbed a bit but he thought that was due to the car being lowered.

ok here you go

1988 GT
17x9 255/45/17 front
17x10 275/45/17 rear

Had to remove the quads in rear and re-adjust tail pipes so the wouldn't hit. The fronts could use a rack limiter's.

Suspension: 4 cyl spring's in frt no isolator's on bottom of spring and rear stock half of coil removed.

nice staggered look. one question though, does it rub when you turn, and in bumps?
