First ever run myself : Well I took " Buster " out to the track Saturday May 08 2010 just to see with the minimal mods ( performance tune, exhaust, automatic ) that I have how fast he would run. A little nervous on the tree as have never done it personally in my own car or any other car for that matter, I figured it out though and didnt do too bad with ( My BFG street radials ) I ran a 2002 Z28 Camaro he beat on ET but I got him on speed, oh well not too bad for a first try ( My time is the one on the right # 346 )
Street Radials : BFG G-Force T/A KDWS 235/50ZR/18's
My time and speed would be faster closer to sea level. FireBird Raceway is 2695 ft above sea level, the temp today was good 64 degrees and the humidly 26% @ 29.87 inches
So this is what my corrected time and speed would be : Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines 13.53 @ 104.576 MPH ( that's not too bad )
