You either had one or always wanted one. Well here it is, the original pony car. But this just isn't any Mustang Convertible, it is one of a handful of original "K" code high performance Mustang convertibles equipped with the GT package.
This is not a replica built from an "A" or "C" code car, it is an authentic "K" code with all matching numbers. It has a fresh restoration and is presented in this original color eye popping rangoon red. The interior features the white deluxe pony interior with red accents.
It has the 271 high performance package including: correct heads, header style exhaust manifolds, dual point distributor, heavy duty rods and main bearing caps, dampener, carburetor with and choke, 8K rpm rally pack, and the ever popular factory 4 speed transmission.
The GT package includes: disc brakes, fog lights, trumpet exhaust, upgraded instrument cluster, GT striping and chrome styled steel wheels. This Mustang is completely rust free and is one of the best examples of an original 65 Mustang there is. The doors, hood and trunk lid not only fit perfectly, they open and close like a new car! The car drives great and is a lot of fun.
