This magnificent example of Ford muscle is equipped with a four-speed close ratio, manual transmission, 4.30 locker, power front disc brakes, and it is a matching numbers car. In 1970 only 857 Mach 1's came with the 428 Super Cobra Jet engine which was advertised to have 360 hp, a number that was understated for insurance reasons. Of those, only one was Gold with the 4.30 rear end and power brakes. This is that car.
This car was restored 6 years ago and has been driven only about 1,000 miles since that time. This car is fully documented with the original build sheet and Marti Report. In addition to the options already mentioned, this car is equiped with: Ram air, front spoiler, rear window slats, rear deck wing, original smog equipment, rev limiter, and factory space saver spare with jack and canister.
This car is very unique and rare Mustang. It's a Super Cobra Jet, R-Code, drag pack car and it has a 1 of 1 paint, interior, and drive train combination.
