I owned an '86 GT convertible 5-speed. It was gray but had the same cloth gray interior with the red piping. The paint peeled and the body flexed so bad that by the time I sold it I couldn't close the driver's side door from inside the car. I had to lift the door while closing it from the outside. I used to climb through the passenger side. I miss that car.
