All modern gt500s are supercharged....
I am a mustang fan, but that gt500 was NOT stock or the vette driver was very bad

I gotta say, that was some crap camera work.
It didn't really look like a race, just a friendly drive or something.

I have a friend with a 07 Z06. Driven it some too. I expected to see the Mustang GT500 beat it in a drag race. The Z06 is a track car with a measured track speed of over 200 MPH. It has a holographic heads up instrument display and driver selectable on the fly tunes, steering, suspension and heads up instrument arrangments. It can do over 1G in the turns and pull 2nd gear to 100 MPH. A drag racer its not. But in its element its one bad ass ride.

Im sorry but that Vette needs a driver swap period. The Gt 500 is one beast on the 1/4mi. I hope to one day own one myself. Hands down this a great straight up Driver race

I'm a Mustang guy, but come on, "the Z06 is not a drag racer"??? It has faster 0-60 and 1/4 miles than the GT500. (That said, I'd sell the Vette and buy the stang and pocket the profit in a heartbeat)The bottom line is, a stock Z06 is going to beat a stock GT500 in any race. Now, if the GT500 has some mods? Well you can mod anything into a beast if you have enough $$$. So lets not jump to conclusions about the driver sucking when we don't know what was in either car!
