I see you posted this some time ago, but had to comment.
I LOVE THOSE RIMS! I have the same 17's on my 2004 GT and I too am having a hard time finding info on them. I haven't even seen replacements on the net for them. I was told they are 2004 cobra rims, but the cobras have a circlular depression in the center, but almost the same.
I've polished mine with mothers chrome wax and meguires quik wheel detailer. Both look the same. I'd recommend the Meguires since its easy and quik. I'm pretting sure there is some kind of clearcoat on them though.
