My DIY custom tinted tail lights.... New lights off Craigslist.org, a can of self etching black and a can of high quality clear coat. I wet sanded them and dusted with the black (after completely masking off the housing and gaskets). With two light passes of black, I laid down 3 coats of high end automotive clear coat (all aerosol cans!).
