Description: Featuring the 6 piston Billet Superlite 6 Caliper, these Heavy Duty Mustang front kits provide "Big-Brake" styling while satisfying the high performance demands of today's tire, wheel and suspension technology. Utilizing NASCAR Championship know-how, this is the first high production billet six piston caliper designed specifically for Hot Rod, Muscle Car, High Performance, Pro Touring and Sport Sedans. These high strength, ultra rigid calipers include differentially positioned stainless steel pistons for improved heat resistance, pedal response and pad wear. Anti-rattle pad load plates are fitted for quiet operation and smooth braking. Brake pad changes are fast and easy: remove one bridge bolt and the pads are out. A high luster black anodized finish resists corrosion and preserves the caliper's good looks.

These high performance Mustang kits come with our exclusive PolyMatrix "D" Brake Pads. Polymatrix "D" compound has one of the highest cold friction torque values of any race pad material with strong resistance to fade or glaze during periodic sharp rises in rotor temperature. This makes it an excellent choice for drag racing and performance street category competition. "D" compound has a flat torque curve that provides immediate, predictable pedal response and superior modulation characteristics throughout the entire temperature range. Drag racers can hold the car steady in the water and during staging, and benefit from the powerful feel of positive braking past the finish lights. Couple the Billet Superlite 6 and PolyMatrix "D" with our oversized 13" diameter cross-drilled and slotted curved vane ventilated rotors and you will never be short on style or stopping power.

Cons: No piston dust shield

I have these on the front of my 91. The fit is excellent. A little work is involved to mount them up, but the instructions are very clear. They retain the factory spindles. You will need to cut off the stock caliper mounts and drill and tap the 3 dust shield holes for the new caliper mount. Kit comes complete with bearings, seals and mounting hardware.

I also have the rear 4 piston kit. It is slightly different because of the use of a 9" diff., but again fitment and workmanship is excellent.

I have not tried them out yet, but I hope to soon! I will write more when I do.
