Description:
|
For V6 and GT models.
The kit looks great and performs (braking wise) very well, but it has one major problem.
The cross drilled rotors are not vented, therefore air gets trapped between the pads and the rotors, the air gets heated and when released it makes a popping sound. Now imagine that popping sound multiplied by ten thousands or until you stop; Very, Very annoying. If you get this kit make sure that you get it with plain rotors, maybe slotted.
P.S. all the info posted here I did not invent, I was told this by one of Baer's tech support guys.

Sounds just like my bike did when I took a clothes pin and stuck a playing card so it would slap against the spokes. I got over belieiving this was cool when I was 10. Baer just told me to use the oe pads (I had Hawk pads). Waste of time, of course - noise in inherent in the poor design, just as the other review stated. Like the look, but only way I\'d be happy with these things is if I were stone deaf. Customer service stinks. Stick with a Cobra kit and cross-drilled rotors.
