Description: One of B&M's most popular manual shifters, the Ripper reduces shift throw by up to 30%. Made of high grade stainless steel and aluminum, the Ripper has a ONE MILLION MILE warranty. Installation is very straightforward and can be in your car within an hour. The design of this shifter protects your transmission from damaging "over-shifts" which are one of the leading killers of Mustang manual transmissions. The current model Ripper's no longer require the use of stop bolts to prevent over-shifting . This is accomplished by the elevated aluminum shifter housing that is part of the base. They do, however still ship the Ripper with two stop bolts (front and back side) in case you want to go ahead and play it safe.

Pros: Short, FAST shifts.
Cons: Can be a little stiff at times.

This is an excellent product at a good price. The Ripper definitely lives up to its name and its product hype. You can "rip" through shifts faster than you can disengage the clutch!! This is a tough, well made shifter that wont let you down. I installed it in about an hour. It was very simple to do. All you need are basic hand tools, maybe an 1/4" swivel extension, and some black sealant...and voila!! You are on your way to safe speed shifting. You can also turn the base to get your shifter to set closer to or further back from the front of the console.

Pros: Positive shifts
Cons: none

Outstanding product. Never think twice about slamming gears at the track. Shift from 2nd to 3rd can be done with the palm of your hand. Would recommend this product to anyone wanting a short throw.
