Description:
|
The special housing on these distributers are designed to clear exotic intake and injection combinations on Ford engines. The billet housing measures 5/8" smaller than a stock Ford Distributor but the size doesn't hurt its performance. A magnetic pickup provides accurate trigger signals throughout any racing rpm plus is maintenance-free. A reluctor is responsible for creating the trigger signal and is mounted to a QPQ coated steel shaft. A sealed ball bearing provides high rpm stability and endurance. Unbolt the cap and you'll find the MSD Racing Rotor complete with a brass/stainless steel tip. Beneath the rotor you still have the easy-to-adjust MSD mechanical advance assembly. The Small Diameter Distributors must be used with an MSD Ignition Control.
