Description:

X-Pipe brand crossovers are used to connect our "Optimum Length" or OEM headers to the stock or Bassani AFT-CAT exhaust system with true dual mufflers. They feature mandrel bent stainless steel tubes welded into a unique "X" shaped chamber made out of two stamped sections. This precision-design is more costly than conventional crossovers, but we feel the gains in power, sound and appearance more than makes up the difference.

Equalizer brand crossovers pipes are used to connect headers to either the stock or Bassani AFT-CAT exhaust systems on vehicles with single OEM mufflers. Most OEM crossover pipes utilize a "Y-shaped" design with press bent tubing. Press bending creates wrinkles in the tubing which adversely affects the airflow. All Bassani Equalizer brand crossovers pipes are mandrel bent using stainless steel tubing and in some cases the diameter is improved to optimize exhaust system performance.

STREET or OFF-ROAD If you are upgrading the exhaust system on your vehicle, we recommend using our X-Pipe brand or Equalizer brand crossovers pipes with catalytic converters. Bassani only uses premium cats and all factory emissions connections are retained. Compared to the off-road crossover pipe without cats, there is virtually no difference in power output. So for street use, crossovers with catalytic converters are definitely the way to go.

i have off road system and it is killer. i love the crackling rumble (motor is supercharged) with the flowmaster delta 40's. not as loud as i expected. on the freeway it is like stock sound but at full song, you'd know iam packing sometin. highly recommended.

It's an expensive product, but man does it sound great. Exhaust is important and Bassani obviously knows what they're doing. It's for more than night and day difference, you would just not believe it.

WARNING: I'm being serious when I say this, it will be extremely loud. We put them on a 5.0 with Bassani full-length headers and a rough idle cam and this could get you pulled over, but to assure you a little, we never got pulled over.

Pros:	Great sound, no rust, 1000x better than stock
Cons:	offroad might get ya pulled over/ticketed

This was a night and day difference from stock 4 catalytic h pipe with flowmaster 40 series, to offroad x pipe with flowmaster 40 series. It had to be about 10 times louder and meaner sounding than the horrible restrictive stock exhaust. I went with the off-road x pipe because of a better flowing system and in Nebraska they don't do emissions checks

Pros:	Sounds Good, Easy Install, Easy to swap cats in and out, Can be used on Manifolds or Headers
Cons:	Little expensive but worth it

I personally think that its genius that you can swap the cats in and out so easily, and on top of that you can use it with headers if you decide to install later.

I have the Bassani BX X-pipe with cats and cat-back system with no baffles. It sounds great, very rumbly and racey, but not obnoxious at all. It sounds 100 times better than my stock h-pipe and dynomax cat-back. It has a little bit of the 2K drone, but not too bad. Highly recommended!
